Just in case anybody is unfamiliar with the "HDR imaging" that sgvnsxrated referred to, it's supposedly not that hard to do for those of you who are photographically inclined and have Photoshop.
C'mon, I'd love to see some Prime-ers give us some shots like this!

I know this thread is really old, wanted to bump it though since DSLR cameras are a lot more popular these days figure u all would have more to add
i think a lot of people are NOT quite sure how to USE or edit with HDR settings. a lot of the photos come out really artificial looking and bad in my opinion. some post-processors will use HDR elemnts WITHIN the photo. and that's it.
If anybody in the South Florida area wants some HDRs of his NSX I can take care of that, all I ask in exchange is a ride

FYI-HDR's are supposed to look like this image below wihout the Halo's and cartoony look.

HDR is combining multiple photos with different exposures together into one. You can't magically do it with photoshop using only 1 image.
you can actually get results similar to that of the HDR effect without using HDR techniques, but you usually need very good quality images in RAW format so you can process the image manually...

YES you can. In fact, many people are no longer using multiple shot bracketing. You can take one shot and then import them to a program like lightroom or CS3 and create different exposures. Once that is done, use photomatrix do create the HDR shot. These are not mine, but found on another forum using this technique. Again, one shot HDR pics.

Reason being is I often do these with one photo. Mainly because I don't use a tripod and never get the same shot after I up the exposure manually. I use both CS3 and 4 and increase and decrease the exposure of the single most neutral shot I like. Theoretically you can do this with any photo, but to a purist it might become a "fake" HDR. Regardless, I usually go +4, +2, original, -2, -4 exposure then combine them in the programs I use. I can't tell if the above photos or any other HDR I've seen has been created this way or not, unless you actually look at the .hdr file used to create it or .raw image. Again, I am not a purist, so I wouldn't be able to tell.
Do a Google, try out the few good software they have available and buy it if you like it. Or send a larger pixel photo and I can take a stab at it. 800 x 600 just won't cut it for a nice effect. Either that or my skills stink...
Check out www.jdmgod.com in the Current Project section. The Serious NSX is mine and the photo at the top is HDR. So is the one next to the title in Sorcery's garage. The one up top is heavily altered, the one in the garage is just a little touched up, but both HDR from one photo.

I guess you can get fairly close, but you can't magically invent light that never made it through the lens of the camera.
I guess if you're using raw images you can probably get decent results. I'll have to play with some and see what I can come up with.

Freakin awesome, I just wish i had the time to learn how to do this.
With the right camera, tripod, and software is extremely easy
