Anyone interested in a custom shift boot?

I've been talking to the good people at redline and they're willing to make custom shift boots for our NSX if there's a few people interested. They can do a ton of color leather/thread options...they end up turning out really nice. I had one in my 350Z and it looked fantastic.

All they need is a stock template...I'm going to send them mine in about a month or two (when I do my stereo install) but if anyone has a stock shift boot laying around, we could get this whole process started a lot sooner.

Great link! The CF shift boot is $24.99 (w/o the CF-trim and console piece that come w/ the other NSX-R or OEM shift boot add-ons, retailing for $74-85).

Maybe we need to get a group buy on this, lol...

I don't think it's real CF material/weave. I just noticed how it stated: "Carbon Fiber-like." Makes sense for that price, it's 1/3 the cost of the real NSX-R shift boot which comes w/ the CF trim piece, both made of genuine CF.

Back to the ol' drawin' board. . . :redface:

Well, I just ordered the italian leather in black with red stitching. Should match my type-r floor mats...when I get them.
