Anyone know good place to paint n refinish some wheels?

Custom Wheel Refinishing in North Hollywood (818-764-7679) did a fantastic job refinishing my 98 OEM wheels, they look like new. Not cheap though.

I recently dug up old posts on another forum to help an owner in SoCal and found the following places mentioned for wheel repair. (Note that wheel repair places all do painting and refinishing, but not all paint and refinish places do wheel repair.)

I have scratches on my OEM 97 NSX silver wheel and about to have Wheel Repair Specialist in Santa Ana fix it. I don't know anything about wheel. I just want the wheel will look the same as the other three. Are you happy with WRS? Appreciate your comment

I had my wheels done here and the look great, but i don't think they balanced them correctly because the wheel and tire balance was WAY off. Took it to get rebalanced elsewhere and its much better, but the wheel isn't perfectly balanced as i get some shaking still. Tire shop tells me the wheel is bent and showed me it doesn't spin smoothly on the machine. Years later, aka a few months before now, I had a small leak and apparantly the wheel has corrosion on it causing the tire not to seal perfectly. The tire shop put some goo on there which is supposed to be seal it up, but its only a band-aid solution. All goes back to a bad wheel repair...

had my ssr gpo's, bbs lm's and i forged refinished at tru-wheel. They have their sh... down to a tee! Won't be disappointed.

I used WRS for my Carlssons on my C43 and they are pretty good guys. We got into it a bit over some minor details but they are willing to work with you if you are not completely happy. I dont know about color matching but they do clear over aluminum and did a supurb job on truing my wheels. I will be returning there as I tacoed a front wheel last week

I'm thinking about getting my 95 OEM wheels repaired (curb rash and nicks from tire changes). What have you guys been paying for similar repairs/painting. If you don't want to disclose costs in public, please send me a PM or e-mail.

Thanks,

Mario

They were friendly but the guy who worked on my S2000 wheels put paint on the inside (which looked like shit and I made him remove) and put clear coat over dirt and his own dirty finger prints. I was not happy at all although the minor curb rash was removed well. I was glad the wheels were off my 2005 S2000 and not my 2005 NSX.

BTW, they came to me with a trailer they worked out of. I never set foot at their place in Tustin.
