Me too. This car has really grown on me and now I'm smitten. Might be an NSX replacement if I ever get around to it. I bet Lambo Las Vegas probabaly has one. We should make a run there after the Sunday meet. :smile:
I’m weighting for the R6 It’s a smaller car mid engine to compete with the Elise looks like a cross between the Cayman and R8. Looks promising

Everything was looking good until I realized it is priced almost 50k more than the 911. I guess if you threw in the 911 Turbo it wouldn't look as unreasonable.

Saw one yesterday at the Chicago Auto Show. Looks amazing, The Audi guy told me it will sell for $120k + options. This on had CF behind the doors, 1st part of the rear quarter, an option. Looked very nice. The Engine compartment is what sold me though, just a beautiful car.
Hmmm every one seems to like the R8.
I find them very very ugly (the head lights are really ugly)
And there not that special in specs (only the trans is special) Maybe because it's a Audi every one like's it.
And the basic shap is from the TT wich was a ugly car the new one is better but still not cool.

Saw one too cruising down Las Vegas Blvd about a month ago. Very nice car.
Last night at work I seen about 14 R8s and a bently in the back driving down the strip with two police escorts. Couple of them didnt look or sound stock. They looked so beautiful all togeather.

Not everyone everytime I see it it looks like a stretched TT ,plus has Audi ever made a lightweight car. I think it will weigh more than it's estimates , but hey if a lot of you guys like it cool. The price throws me as well. At that price point I'll buy an Aston instead which is rolling pornography especially in convertible form.....drool!
