Bilstein install question

I am replacing my tired OEM struts with Bilsteins. I'm halfway though the fronts, I noticed the fully extended length of the Bilsteins is about an inch shorter than the OEM struts. Can someone confirm this is normal? It is part number F4-B46-1663-HO for the fronts. I have Eibach springs on the upper perch. I sure hope it's right, it will make it alot easier to get back in :smile:

Looks good. Just did mine about a week ago. Looks to be correct. If you use the lower perch, you'll drop the car almost 1". Good luck.
