Blinkers won't cancel

I have a 2003 and my blinker's won't cancel either left or right. Anyone have experience witht this problem. It could be either the cancel solenoid which is in the switch assy or the canel unit which is behind the steering wheel. The cam that actuates the cancel unit is ok. Thanks

have u tried taking the cancel unit out and cleaning it? i had this problem but now it's better after i clean the contact prongs with alcohol..better but have not gone away completely..but better then b4..my is a 93 though..

This is a pretty pricey part from Honda..(440.00).

if you dont get a good result from cleaning the contacts.. LMK - I have 2 spares and I can get by with only one spare.

same thing happens to me when i dont drive the car for awhile, takes a few days of driving for it to work again.

Sounds like a broken clockspring behind the steering wheel.
