Center console paint colour

Just looking to share - have just found that to my eye Tamiya XF-84 Dark Iron is a fairly close match to the center console paint. YMMV.

I can't comment on whether the color is a good match. I will make the comment that Tamiya paints are model paints and thus are formulated to go on with the absolute thinnest layer possible so that they don't hide surface details on the model. Net result, they are not really durable. If you are using it for a general repaint, make sure that you put on a compatible clear coat of some kind.

I agree with old guy, model paints will not work well for this. Just have a body shop respray it and look through their color chips to see what matches best.
