Finished up my set based on Mugen_Kid's idea and I am quite pleased with the results. Since he is no longer doing them for new customers I will build a set for anyone interested.

They can be done in any layout in either Amber or White. The Running lights can alternate with the blinkers, shut off while the blinker is on, or remain on all the time (as mugen_kid's did).

Cost will be $500 for any design you can think of and will be covered under a 1 year warranty.

You should cover the black area around the LEDs with DI-NOC vinyl it will finish them off nicer.

I have a set of these and can attest to the very high build quality and how OEM they look
My set is a single straight line for both the white park lites & yellow for turn signals
For $9.95 each I bought from John Eagle Hond dealer parts dept OEM plugs to enable these to be DRL switched on with the ignition, wired into the fuse box under the hood
This is one of my favorite mods!
I highly recommend them!

Can you explain this better?

There are 2 ways to modify the wiring to the parking lites to turn them into DRL's
1. splice into the existing OEM wiring
2. what I chose to do....there a 2 plugs in the back of the parking lites and they are not the same. the outer one (furthest from the midline of the car) is the plug for the parking lites. The inner plug is for the turn signals. I took one of my parking lites & a photo of the plug to the John Eagle Honda dealer in Dallas, parts dept & purchased from them for $9.95 each 2 of the plugs (one for each side) so that I could direct wire from the fuse box under the hood, directly to the parking lite. I just unplugged, the oem plug, wrapped it really well in electrical tape to help keep moisture out of it and tucked in the space behind the lite for safe keeping if I ever wanted to return the lite to it's OEM configuration (no DRL).
All of this was a very simple Mod, having the replacement plugs, made it easier and cleaner & totally reversible!
You local Honda or Acura dealer may also have these plugs available!

I hope this helps

Are you using the same LEDs as this?

I would have to ask him which set of amber you are using (he used 2 different types) but possibly.

I am using different whites that allow me a much tighter spacing but have similar light output with longer run times.

I'm working on side markers next. Did you paint over yours or are they led as well?

*nevermind I watched the 2nd video again and can tell by the lag between the side/front they are standard filament.
