Different views of my NSX! NOT WORK SAFE

Yep, it's the Ghost! Still alive and kicking!

WOW Bruce! Haven't swung by to post here since 2005.
Amazing! 808 Replies with 342,316 Views!

Hope that you and the rest of the old H-Town Crew (Paul, Tommy, John, etc.)
are doing well. Not Single anymore, been married for 4 years and have a
2.5 year old little Girl.

Hey there to Neo, Anytime, Martin, Fury, NSXLR8R & Blue Knight if you're out there.

Actually back in the market to look at some NSX's and decided what
better place to check out the available rides then on Prime. I was up
in the attic yesterday and came across all of my old NSX Stuff:
19" & 20" HRE Wheels, RM Exhaust, Willwood Brakes, etc..... I really
forgot that I still had all of that stuff up there since the buyer of my
Blue car in AZ wanted it in Stock Condition. Good thing I guess....

Got me thinking that I just need to get a new ride to slap them on!

Anyways, PM me if you or the Old Crew want to hook up. I'm down
in Houston almost every month for business but still up here in Dallas.

Take care!

OMG!!! The Legend has returned!!

Hi Martin,

I'll have to dig up the Archives! Been a long time since I seen all that stuff / pics.

Hey Fury,

Not sure about Legend but certainly an old NSX Fanatic looking to come back.

Take care Guys!

Terry

Did you find any more pics up there????

Brother John,

Been awhile! Hope you and the Family are doing well. I saw pics
of the little one cruising with you on the other thread. Growing fast!
As for some pics..... Will take a look over the weekend as it's been
years since I've seen that stuff ...... Also, If Momma-San didn't burn
them all up:)

Take care!

Hi

Almost a year since Samurai san showed up. He has some long weekends as I have not seen any new pictures here.

9 Years! Glad to be Back!

Well, after several messages / requests received from members and friends
as well as a GO from a Mod here, this thread will awake for the 2nd Chapter
on my New addition to my Family!

What better day than today which is exactly 9 years from the date of the
1st post / start of this thread?

Here are some pictures of the 2002 Spa Yellow NSX I purchased with 24,000
miles on her in February of this year. It's been a long patient wait to find the
right one for me ..... Here is how she looks today, I have the original HRE 547's
from my Monaco Blue 2000 that will be on her shortly as soon as I get my
coilovers installed. I'll post pics as she comes alive. There will definately
be some surprise pics / maybe reunions in the future for some shots with
this car .... stay tuned!

Glad to be Back!

Terry

Yo bro...welcome back. I guess we're sharing the same excitement as I've also just returned recently...sold old blue and got a '91 coupe with 24K miles as well.

Can't believe we're 9 years and running strong...let's shoot for another 9...

Hi Noah,

Yeah, I remember you sold yours around the same time I did. Tried to look
for a thread for your new NSX and could not find it. Will be on the lookout
for a new thread for your NSX ...... With 24K it must be a sweetheart!

Indeed 9 years for this thread, we actually both joined the same time 10 years
ago in April 2002! Crazy how time flies:rolleyes:

Take care!

Hey Terry,

I'm glad we're both still passionate about the NSX...I went through quite a few cars since and never quite found the same feeling and passion for driving as I did with the NSX (2 S2000s, Corvette).

Let the good times continue...I have tons of pics of my NSX and other cars on FB. Let's sync.

I went through a few as well, M5 & Corevette too! Indeed nothing felt the
same as a good old NSX, this is my 3rd time around with an NSX and I believe
there will always be an NSX parked in my garage till I'm gone! I have to remind
myself of the feeling I had when I was NSXless and comparing all cars to it
and the time it takes to find another NSX to replace it again! I'll PM you with
FB details.... Talk to you soon!

Terry

Great to see you back! OG members never die, they just return with a new NSX!

Let the pic whoring begin!

Oyagi,
You have a point, my 3rd time back to an NSX!

Phoen$x,
Thank you! So glad to be back, I missed this
community and certainly the NSX Handling!

Too much fun!

Thank you for your kind words brother T. Just like you, I love NSX, I got myself 3 NSX before I know this one is a keeper. Can't wait to see you put them wheels and coil over on, and you will love your NSX even more.

Anytime Brother, your NSX is Amazing! I'm taking my HRE's to get the old
tires taken off, 3 of the wheels repaired and ordering some new tires. I'm
finally slowing down on the business travel now, I'll have more time over
the next couple of months to work on the new kid! Hope to have it ready
and decent looking by NSTEXPO when you and Z have the dates....

GREAT, Z and I think may be in July. That should give you enough time to dial in you car the way you want it. So wheels, coil over, and what about exhaust? I remember that was the first thing you change on the Blue one. Can't wait to see you and your car BRO.
To be honest I did learn a lot about modding after going thru 2 nsx and so many other cars in last ten years. But you did taught me a lot when I first got my first NSX. It was you who inspired me. You are truly my brother.

Thanks Homie!

I've been spending so much time on here lately that it motivated me to go up
in the attic and bring the Ghosts down that have been haunting me up there.
Took them to Discount tire and just got back, had to have the 10 year old
tires taken off before dropping the wheels off for some curb rash repair.

Already made the appointment for tomorrow to drop them off. Working on my
coilover order now .. LOL!

Here they are in the back of the Expedition..... Will be ready to rock soon, can't wait!
The old Ghosts still look pretty Hot!

Wow, THEY do still look great. Can't wait to see them on your yellow fever.
Almost there!

The wheels were finished on Monday / light curb rash repair. If you're in the
DFW Area and need wheel repair, I highly recommend Wheel Repair Solutions
in Carrollton, TX. Ask for Eric! My front tires showed up Wednesday and the
Rears on Thursday / yesterday. I had them mounted and balanced at WRS as
well. They did an outstanding job!

I went with the same tire sizes on my HRE 547's that I ran 9 years ago:
225/35 18 on the Front 18x8
275/30 19 on the Rear 19x10

Yokohama S-Drives were the only choice that I could get matching front and
rear tires at Tirerack.com, I've seen a few people have issues with 225 S-Drives
rubbing so we'll have to see... The Pole Positions that I had on these were no
problem in these sizes. When I ran 215's they appeared stretched and exposed
too much of the wheel lip. These S-Drives turned out perfect with a flat down
the side appearance in to a slight role over.

Here's a few pics with them finished up! Coilovers are out for delivery as I
make this post! Hope to have some time to install them over the weekend
as I will not put these on in NSX 4x4 mode ... LOL!
