What is the opening of the air duct? No one has responded to measurements! I guess I have to measure it myslef.

I measured the actual opening of the intake vent and it's actually 4 1/16" X 5 9/16". BRB---

So there are quite a few options (HEPA or not) depending on how much one wants to trim the edges.

Thanks for this awesome DIY tip guys, I did this last week. Used the FRAM and it only took literally 5 minutes to install. I don't mind the extra fins as the rest of it fits nice and snug. Fan seems ever-so-slightly weaker but nothing that will bug you; all HVAC works like it's supposed to. Yay for less interior dust! :biggrin:
