Does Size really matter?

Folks,

I have just ordered some tires that are 265/35/18 and 235/40/17. Before I put them on, I am considering sending the 265's back in exchange for 275's. I figure since my fronts are kind of wide, I should make my rears ultra wide.

Does anyone have any comments contrasting 265 vs 275 on a 9.5 or 10 inch wheel?

I would go with the 275/35/18 on the back. The 235/40/17 on the fronts with the 275's in back will slow your performance some what if you do not have short gears and ring & pinion.

Better yet... Look at the Pictures on this BB. (I am 94 NSX GUY) I was thinking just like you, and I decided to go with 225/35/18s in front and 295/30/19s in the rear. I personally think it looks great. I also lowered the car 1.3incehs..
