I heard that for $250k Ferrari can rebuild just about any sorta damage like that Enzo that snapped in half in Malibu.

Total Loss is usually repairs that exceed 80% of the car's market value. $250k is less than that for the F50.

the insurance adjusters didn't know what they were doing if that is the case...

Well when i check my Ferrari Dealer system i get the following:

Ferrari Enzo
Part #66535400 "Complete frame" (carbon tub)
€ 117.223,42 - $161.462,96

Ferrari F50
Part #155715 "MONOCOQUE BODY FRAME"
out of production

I'd need to call and check that Enzo price but it should be accurate
MC12 Maserati tube should be roughly the same since it's the same chassis.
