Test done on Dynodynamatic dynometer:(from another site).

1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello 365.9rwhp

2000 Ferrari 360 Modena 311.4rwhp

1985 Ferrari Testarossa 273.6rwhp

1982 Ferrari Euro 308 GTS QV 182.6rwhp

1985 Ferrari 308 GTS 171.3

I am surprised by the low HP numbers.

I would say people with 320-330rwhp on the CTSC NSX's should not feel too bad.

The 360's numbers suprise me the most. If 400 is accuate, that's something like 22% drivetrain loss.

Ferraris have long been known to be overstated in the HP department.

what about the NSX?

i wonder why there are 2 very different results for the same year Z06?

My 02 put down closer to 360. stock interesting

How accurate are All Wheel Dynos for the subby and Diablo?

This "stock" Viper impressed me:

2004 Dodge Viper 474.1

Picking my battles!!!

hmmm... That's what I am striving for this summer w/ a few NA mods to my C30A. Talk about the bragging rights!?!

Why would CTSC NSX's feel any bit inadequate w/ themselves while producing 320-330rwhp  Numbers on a machine or a printout hardly mean anything when an Elise or MazdaSpeed highboost Miata can pass and be somewhat competitive amongst much higher powered cars at the track. Transferring the power to realworld performance is the name of the game, and Ferrari does that quite well.

At a Bay Area dyno day a few years back an F355 pulled a 275 rwhp. And that was with a claim of 400 crank hp.

Dyno results for bone stock 3.0 NSX, 3.2 NSX and Ferrari F355:

http://www.dynospotracing.com/tests.htm

3.0 NSX 241.6 rwhp
3.2 NSX 269.7 rwhp
F355 298.5 rwhp

cool, (269.7) s a really good figure

that explaines a lot

I always see videos of the NSX sticking up to cars a lot more powerfull than itself, but this figure explaines a lot

and these videos are sincere like the one on Top gear where they rce it against a bucnk of cars including the the new corvette, and it wins!

FYI,

The dyno for the 3.2 was for my NSX (not stock) and that was with the RM Racing Exhaust and the RM Racing Intake back when the NSX had about 20K miles. Andrie organized that particular dyno day, I believe that the guy with the F355 was one of his friends.
