First drive of the new year

Thanks, Les, and JC, for organizing another yet memorable event--45 nsx's participating!! Wonderful to see old friends, and meet new ones. Big shout out for San Diego representing!! Fabulous California weather in Malibu, good eats, and an awesome SoCal NSX group. Les, what can we say--you say the word--and we'll follow!!!! PS: Thanks to all those who shared their wonderful pictures!

Thanks Les, and leaders for a well organized drive!

First time with the NSX in the canyons, was a lot of fun! It was really fun being a sweeper.

Just seeing that many NSXs in a row, was just awesome. I had to pinch myself.

Who was the one at the top of the drive with the sign posted on the side PHOTO OP IN PROGRESS (something along that line) with the flashes for each car passing through?

Great shots guys!!! I know Randy has a whole bunch, props for driving and snapping some epic shots at the same time :biggrin:

Great drive today!! Thanks a bunch to Les for organizing, and to the group leaders and sweepers, especially for the Group 4 sweeper, who made sure some of us lost folk made it to that great last stretch on Latigo Canyon Road.

I've got a bunch of pics to sort through, but here's a sneak preview....

I put these in the gallery thread on Sunday but decided they should go here too... Here are a few of my photos from today's meet. I met up at 7AM with the first group at Claim Jumper in Fountain Valley, and then we drove to an Albertson's in Los Angeles to meet up with a second group at 8AM. Together, we all drove in the hills above Malibu and then to a lunch at Coggies, in Malibu.

^Prices for gas on Thursday (2-23-12) when I filled up for today's drive.

^At the second meeting point in LA. Still pretty hazy out but it did get sunny.

^Pretty Bryana, with her new AVS Model T5 wheels, which I love!

^Lining up to leave the Albertson's parking lot in LA to head for Malibu.

^Driving on Pacific Coast Highway going past Sunset Blvd.

^Just starting up Las Flores Canyon.

^Turning from Stunt Road onto Mulholland Highway.

^Good. Mr. CHP is already busy. :smile:

^Unrelated to drive but I stopped at Costco in Irvine on the way home and parked next to a Honda Clarity. Don't see those very often.

:frown: It was a pretty bad hang over. I actually ended up cruising PCH in the afternoon that day. Saw a Black NA1 and Red NA1...I was hoping to see 40 :frown:
