Hey guys, I have been eyeballing that orange racecar, therefor I am listing up my Lotus. Here is the general info:
Year: 2005
Make: Lotus Elise
Color: Saffron Yellow
Miles: 10,400 (climbing since how can you not drive these cars?)
Vin: SCCPC111X5HL31033
Any accidents?: No accidents
Clean Title?: Clean and free title in hand.
Price: $28,000
I absolutely love these cars, this is my first Lotus. Let me try to get as much on the table as possible. When I first got the car, I hand washed, clay bar'd, taped it down with 3m green, and went to work. The paint is still in new condition so I used Menzerna 106FF, and sealed it with FMJ. The car has starshield, and I just used meguires NXT on the starshield because it has UV protectant.
With the interior I removed the seats, cleaned them thoroughly with leatherique. Removed the carpet and cleaned underneath, reinstalled and cleaned the rest of the panels. I'm kind of a clean freak. I absolutely have to have the car to my liking otherwise I can't sleep.
Next I moved onto the maintenance side of things and changed the oil. I used Mobile One 5W-40 as well as a Mobile One filter. Cleaned the engine cover and moved up top, and changed the factory plugs with some new NGK iridium BKR6EIX-11. Next I installed a new K&N drop in filter, and performed the de-snorkel mod. I had also replaced the rear factory tires with new Nitto NT-01 tires. The front tires have plenty of meat on them.
Next for electronics, I got tired of flipping through CD's, so I installed a JVC head unit with HD radio, bluetooth, but the only reason I replaced it is because it has a front USB port for an Ipod/MP3 player. In the process I hardwired a Valentine One radar which is not included, but I will leave the wire. I had also installed 5000k HID's in the low beams.
It has power windows, and alarm, but I do not believe it has the sport pack.
Other mentionables:
The car came with a reverie dry carbon front lip. It is cracked from the previous owner, but it is something you cannot notice unless you get on the floor and look at the split which is in the center of the lip. Also has the reverie dry carbon 3 element rear diffuser, and reverie carbon fiber shift knob. The car does not have a soft top, but it has the aftermarket gullwing roof which I prefer.
The Bad:
Car has a few small scratches on the gullwing roof by the metal hinges which may have been caused by the previous owner, they aren't too serious, but it may bother the perfectionist. Also the car does not have the factory manual. The previous owner lost this which was kept in a file, that had been misplaced when they have moved into another home.
Track Sessions:
The car was entered in one track session. And I hope the next owner does the same. The oil, tranny fluid, brake fluids were changed prior to the event, and the exact same fluids were changed after the event. The oil was fully synthetic mobile one 5W-40, the brake fluid was ATE Super Racing Blue, and the tranny fluid was a cocktail of Redline MT-90 (1 1/4 quarts) and one full quart of Redline Lightweight Shockproof. The antifreeze had been left alone, the car floated in between 183-189 degrees on the track.
Lastly, I will most likely buy the car some sort of aftermarket catback, and do the rear naked mod after researching failed exhaust problems.
If interested please PM me, or you can email me at [email protected]. You can also call me at 801 390-0376.
Will consider trades for an NSX if you want more of a track dedicated car.
