FX Motorsports Development is proud to offer the NSX community the same Darton MID-Sleeved 3.2L NSX blocks that we use in our FX750 racecar. After several years of pushing the NSX engine to the limits in the most grueling, high horsepower conditions imaginable (both drag-racing and road racing); we are now ready to offer you the best sleeving option available for the NSX. The machining, material, and installation processes will be identical to that of our race engine blocks.

Our master machinist is the best in the business with an engine building background ranging from NHRA, ALMS, Speed World Challenge, Grand-Am, NASCAR, IMSA, and the fastest Time Attack NSX in the country, ensuring unrivaled precision installations. With these sleeves we have put down in excess of 750whp without a hint of deflection. If you are considering a forced-induction build this is the foundation for your NSX engine program. FXMD can offer a core exchange of your block to greatly reduce your NSX’s downtime.

More information regarding Darton’s MID Sleeves:

Darton pioneered modular sleeve designs and specialty ductile iron material beginning with their manufacture of top fuel sleeves in 1978. Darton sleeves excel in the harsh environment of all-out racing. Their centrifugally cast nodular composition represents the highest quality of any cast material. The unique matrix of Darton's centrifugally cast nodular iron sleeves provides unexcelled surface toughness. Darton's unique casting process provides a bore finish which, while very tough, promotes quick and total piston ring seal for the most complete combustion possible from each cylinder.

Darton now has engineered a superior solution to open-deck sleeve weakness by using a unique design which creates a solid deck of sleeve flanges held in tension, reinforcing the upper deck area and provides for in-field replacement with what they call “Modular Integrated Deck” (MID).

· Street/strip/track application
· Superior cylinder sealing and ring wear
· Ductile iron w/130,000 psi tensile strength Darton sleeve kits also come in a standard “flanged” design for blocks with a closed deck.

FX Motorsports Development - sleeved blocks show dominance against the country's fastest Time Attack cars.

Check out the in-car video of the GoTo: Racing/Dell's Nissan GTR and the Sierra Sierra EVO from the Redline Time Attack season finale at Auto Club Speedway. FXMD's sleeved blocks continue to prove their reliability and power by walking away from some of the highest horsepower TA cars in the country.

Enjoy:

With all the recently turbocharged NSXs out there, sleeved blocks are a must for high HP goals as well as for increased reliability for both track and street cars alike.

These race-proven sleeved blocks are great insurance for those who have been bitten by the HP bug. If you are tracking your car or are planning on making 450whp+, sleeved blocks are a wise investment.

Happy Holidays.

Billy,
FXMD
