Gear does not engage

I have a '95 tiptronic NSX that has a problem the dealers cant even seem to figure out. After driving about 10 miles, the gears do not engage. I can rev the engine, but it does not pop into gear (just like im in neutral).
This problem persists in both automatic and tiptronic mode and happens in any gear and rpm.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

The Honda technicians think it is the transmission controller unit.

Check your neutral safety switch.Im not sure if it would be the controller because most cars have a fail-safe mode they switch to when they go bad.That usually means they would be stuck in one gear.Will the car go in reverse?

Thanks for the reply. The car will go in neutral. It runs fine for about ten miles and then starts to act up. Ill ask the techs to look at the safety switch.
