sounds like it's worse with time...

I had the same symptoms...

coil packs easy enough to check those back ones...

washing your car or driving it in rain gets those back coil packs wet and then you get your stumblijng and misfires

Okay, car is fixed - it was a coil pack that went. Also, the valve clatter was due to #2 & #5 being out of spec. Valve adjustment fixed that right up too. He found both my inner CV boots torn open and the grease all out of them too, so I had to replace them - $198 just for the 2 boots! The guy did an excellent job and I am very happy. All fixed now. Just wanted to give the update. Thanks again for all the helpful posts!
