Sounds much too wide in the front.
The most frequently-used front tire size for 17" wheels on the NSX is 215/40-17 (for its wide availability of tires as well as its ability to avoid rubbing the fender well liners). That size tire is usually recommended to be mounted on wheels from 7 to 8 inches wide.
