Here is an E-Bay car what I'd say is flood-damaged jh4na1158nt001162

Please take a look at the pictures of this car that is for sale in Los Angeles. Notice that the asking price is on the low side but then take a look at the pictures of the interior, particularly the carpets. See anything odd? Now look under the front bonnet (hood) and notice the bolts are all rusted. Hmmmm. Looks to me like this car took a dip, and if I had to guess I'd say the dip was into salt water too, because fresh water usually won't cause extensive rust damage. What think you, got any comments on this sort of damage and what to look for?

I have rarely seen a NSX also poorly maintained, there is no cap tow hook on the front bumper, removed the paint on the rear bumper, a hole in the articulation of the seat, engine compartment before and disgusting .. . ago means to revive the NSX but it will cost you a lot of time and money, mine was not as disastrous in a state but I had 6 months of work and cost € 8,000 (replacement damaged parts too), you have to see if it's worth the price

This car is way over priced. I bought a bone stock, minty '91 with less miles and full maintenance up to date (including timing belt and water pump) for $5K less than this cars asking price. Mine has beautiful original paint (a few stone chips) and an Ivory interior.
Also notice the truck lid is mis-aligned. I would probably avoid this car. There are much better cars here that are for sale than this one.

That screams flood damage. If it's not branded someone will buy that replace some interior parts most likely off this site and have that thing looking like new for sale in a few months. Asking price is way to high Im sure its negotiable. But he may find a sucker. Thats why people post cars for prices like that. People with more money then brains will see that and buy it when the owner comes down $3K on a car that $6-7K above actual value.

Yeah, I def wouldn't say $30k's on the "low" side for a 1992 with 93k. Sketchy looking for sure. They should've at least replaced the carpet. I've seen rusted hardware like that on salt-belt cars before, doesn't necessarily mean it took a swim but still is a potential red flag to a would-be buyer.

My Black/Black 92 is for sale for "around" the same price, with about 30k less miles, in much better shape and mine has definitely never taken a swim in the ocean.

Not sure about that, the inventory looks a bit weak with only 1 pic per car. Lots of older low to mid priced cars.

I wonder if any forward thinking person working in Detroit pushing those Challengers off the assembly line would have ever imagined that a 46 inch Plasma would someday be residing in the trunk as a video gaming platform. Makes you wonder what kind of stuff will be around in 2044.
