how about the Getaway in Stockholm 4 teaser?

Where can I download it at?

That teaser is cool I can't wait till the video actually comes out.

COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!

Please someone confirm to me that that was an NSX fish-tailing around a corner!!!

= Neo's smile!

what's up with the chicks though?! i guess "Welcome to the world of MYNSX" eh? ;)

I love the videos, however.....................

Am I the only one who thinks they are fixed. I mean come on, a little common sense, they can't catch these people. Don't the police there use radios?? In the last video there is one lonely cop blocking the road, and he lets the guy make a u turn and go the other way, one cop ?!?!?!?! Don't you think knowing what has happened twice before they would have more police on a heightened alert? For god sakes, they even have a helicopter??

But here is the other real question I have. In the beginning of 3, you see a police car come into the "garage area" right before the NSX takes off. Again, only 1 cop car, and also don't you think the cop would have radioed back and had the garage searched by a whole team of police. If they did that they would have nabbed the supra he left behind. Are the police there that stupid, I think not.

The video has to be a movie project that was approved by the local police. That's the only explanation for the extremely light traffic as well. Don't tell me it’s dawn, come on that whole trip, which is like a hot lap at the Nurburgring there was only like 4-5 cars on the road.

If this happened in NYC!!!! forget it. Maybe once it could have happened, never 4 times!!! There would have been an army of cops after his ass (or asses) Plus, they are selling the damn video, can't the authorities track the sale for god sake.

Very cool video....but it has to be fixed

I think it's a given that any video circulating around the WWW may be not what it seems. You make some very valid arguments and after viewing 1 2 3 and now 4 I would strongly tend to agree with you. It's all staged. Just a strong hunch.

jadkar - You're not alone... i've wondered if the cops in GiS3 were a setup.

It seems they also do these films in or around August, so you'd think the cops would have the Army deployed during that month. :D

Don't forget GiS2 had a lot of footage missing because police confiscated the tapes.

now Getaway in NYC.... i'd LOVE to see that!!! :D Anyone up to the challenge? ;) (the helicopter footage would be provided free by news choppers ... oh... guess there wouldn't be much point to buying the DVD then. :p)

for all U US guys, it will be 4 sale at DaliRacing, like the 3rd one.

Do they have access to the whole series for one stop shopping?

As for if they are staged or not...there are some valid points made, but also remember that they have very different police departments overseas. These include different pursuit reglations and other factors. It just may be possible to do a video a year and not get caught. Now if it was every month, sure, they would get busted. But the police would have to be mind readers to get these guys.

That's correct. The police in scandinavia have a totally different approach to pusuit than i.e. the States. They can not continiue a pursuit no matter what. I.e. the speed is too high thay have to abort, if the car beeing chased is driving in populated areas, they have to abort. In other words, thye rules for engagement and disengagement are very strict. They do not stop cars at any cost.
The number of cops/sivilian are much lower too.

I believe the getaway is for real. It only lasts about 20 min, and that does not give the police a lot of time to get extra road blocks and helicopters up and running. We're talking about a country with one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

IF this was a staged/fake pursuit, they'd have to rent all of Stockholm and be allowed to drive 160 mph+ on highways. Not very likely. "The run" with the 350Z is a movie like that, where they rented parts of a city to do their run. (http://www.nissan.com.au/the_RUN_HiRes.asp I do have to say, that illegal pursuit is stupid, and it's just a matter og time before someone will get killed making these movies.

I understand everything that was just said but what about this that I mentioned before.

Do you think the Supra had phony plates on it?? And even if it did they could have impounded the vehicle. It all seems very strange.

It's not illegal to have a car parked. They have to catch the person in the act or identify a person driving the vehicle. A parked vehicle has not done anything wrong and can therefore not be charged with anything.

If a police officer came to my house and said they saw my car drive at ridicilous speeds topday, I can say that it wasn't me and that other people have access to my car. If they can't prove that I was in fact driving it, they have no case. They can't make me tell them who actually drove the car either.
