How much for a new A/C Compressor?

I bought one last year from the Toth brothers in NY and payed $200 for it (salvage). It lasted fine until the clutch went a couple of months ago (probably due to bad filling).
I ordered another one which was a piece of junk when it arrived, but sending back would have cost me more, so i build one good one out of two.
It's not only the compressor which is pricy, the clutch-assy comes as a set which is approx $400 from Honda dealer (might be cheaper in the US).

Bought from dealer.
