I just purchased a 99 Ferrari 360 Modena to use as a daily driver. I am driving out to Chicago to pick it up Saturday morning. Here are a few pictures. I will be selling the 94 348 Spyder cheap is anyone is interested.

Congrats... It's the manual too, rare, but way cheaper than F1 paddles.

Very nice, Im torn between adding a 360, a 355 or 911 Turbo. Just curious what something like that ran you? PM ME if you'd like.

being the manual version, anywhere between 50-70K. The F1 paddle modena's go for 80K+.

Here is the link to the car I bought. I have a friend that used to own a dealership and have access to Manheim so I was able to get the car for $67k. It is not perfect inside, but is an 8.5 on a scale of 10, I am going to use it as a daily driver so it is going to get a little wear. I was looking at a Mercedes CLS 55 AMG as well, but want something a little sportier. If you have any questions about the car, you are welcome to call me or even meet me somewhere if you want to take it for a spin.

Nice looking car you got there. With almost 30k already on the odo, how many miles do you expect to put on it?

I wish I could have found one for $50k, they are still going for low to mid $60's that have similar mileage at the auction. This was bought from a retailer, but he extended me professional courtesy to sell the car at the price.

The thing with the F360, watch out for the headlights. They will start to discolor from the inside. You can remove them and attempt to clean it, but in a year or so, they will start to discolor again. The F430's don't do that.... yet.

I plan to put about 10 to 15k miles per year on it. I found with my 348, the more you drive it, the more reliable it is. Just change the oil and do the maintenance on it and it should be good.

i hear that the 360 is actually a pretty decent daily.

Nice looking car. Congratulations and enjoy.

I would think the 360 will be more reliable then the 348 and easier to own..... good luck with the car and keep us updated on how shes treating you

Awesome!

Congrats, it is good to hear of someone who is having a good F-car experience!

I am glad you liked your 348 well enough to buy another Ferrari, and the 360 is just beautiful IMO.

Someday maybe...

Great find. I can't believe you're going to use it as a DD though. Good for you. You really screwed up my next car buying decision with this today though. I was on the 360 route this spring but shifted focus to a Gen III Viper the last few months. Great job on the color and the 6 speed. I've heard the actuators on the early F1s (99 to maybe around 2002 or so) have real reliability problems and cost big $$$ to repair. You got what I was looking for but I want a spyder...same color and six speed. Have fun!
