Anyone know an NSX tech close to Charlotte, NC. I want to replace my clutch, and want it done right. Thanks for the help.

One of the best people you will ever find is Steve Gooding in Raleigh. He has alot of experience and only works on NSXs.

Strongly recommend getting your car over here to Raleigh to have Steve work on it. You can search the forum for numerous comments by NC area owners about Steve. He has corrected many mistakes by other mechanics who have worked on area NSX's. If I recall correctly, he even found a clutch disc that was installed backwards?
Also, see the thread in Owners Forum by GeNSX (GeNSX used to live in Fayetteville, he's an Air Force flight surgeon who relocated to Las Vegas) about the new SOS Billet Clutch. I saw this in person at the Toronto NSXPO. When I need a new clutch, this will be my choice, and of course Steve will install it. I have the good fortune of living about 10 minutes from Steve.
Good luck. Let me know if you need any help getting in touch with Steve. Also, I often travel over to Mooresville on business and might be able to coordinate getting you back there after delivering your car to Steve.

I am still driving the car as of now, and it is for sale. I would rather not replace it if the new owner wants a different clutch than oem, etc.
If the car doesnt sell soon, I will be in contact with Steve.
If you come up to the Charlotte Auto Fair this weekend let me know, it would be nice to see another NSX out there!

Agreeing with everyone else on Steve.:wink:
If you don't want to go to Raleigh they have a older guy that has been with Hendrick Acura that knows the NSX's He put in my clutch and I have had no problems, he is the NSX specialist for Acura
I also just remembered Paris Senor at pro tek. Im not even sure if the shop is still open but I heard he was really good to if the trip to Raleigh was too much.
