Hi All,

As an Imola Orange Pearl owner I seriously love these cars and want to keep track of the total 41 Imola Orange Pearl/Orange 2002 - 2005 cars made. I have created two distinct threads for the total 49 Imola Orange Pearl cars made:

Imola Orange Pearl/Onyx thread
http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107885

Imola Orange Pearl/Orange thread - this thread.

Both with the intention of tracking down Mileage, Year, VIN, and location at the present time. If you Imola Orange owners wish to submit this information then by all means do so as it will help the NSX community track each one. If you don't want to add the information then that's okay too. Nothing personal is being recorded - just the cars information. If you know of wrecked serials as well please do let this thread know.

So to recap here are the production numbers for the Imola Orange Pearl/Orange cars for the U.S. market (Please add your info as shown below and I've already added some from what I know):

Awesome! Thanks for the info Robare!

When I was in NM picking up my ex-91 was that you who showed up in the Imola Orange for our NSXFiesta?

That was me. They just had a "NM NSX fest" again and I missed it as I'm up in Colorado. Nice to see you've gone Imola. As for your list, there's a guy in Florida who has a stunning Imola with a beautiful Cantrell lip on it.
Cheers,
R

Robare - thanks for showing up at that NM Fiesta as you definately sold me on owning an Imola Orange. I even asked Chuck a while ago the likelyhood you'd sell but he doubted it and I found my mint 02.

Take care - Jetpilot

My favorite color combo. If I had an NSX, it would be either this combo or the yellow/ yellow combo. It really makes the car stand out.

Wow. Updated the original post in this thread as there happen's to be 2 Imola Orange/Orange combo cars for sale this past week in Roslyn, NY.

Imola owners if you can post up the last few digits of your Imola and where its located that would rock. I'm keeping track of where these fabulous colored cars are.

It's definitely a Candian car. All Canadian NSXs have an "8" as the 12th digit of the VIN. I wonder if there's an accessible database of Canadian cars out there.

Ben,
my Canadian S2000 has an "8" in the 12th digit as well. Honda standard.

Do you have any info on world wide production numbers?
I don't ever remember seeing how many NSXs were ever built world wide.

Unfortunately, I only have the information for the US models. I'm trying to get information to build a Canada car database as well, but no luck, as the Canada ownerslink doesn't give the color/transmission combo like American Honda ownerslink does.

I also know that there are at least 2 Imolas in our local Bay Area group, although both only come out sporadically. Maybe they'll come out for ALMS in a couple weeks. I'll keep an eye out.

Ben - good news! I've got a contact who works at Westside Acura in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and I'll be back there on Friday. I'll stop in and say hello and dig up a resource if I can.

I've updated the original post in this thread to add in the Imola serials you've supplied. Many thanks as ALL Imola's have now been recorded. The only information missing is whereabouts and mileage.

Ben,
attached is a table extracted from the "NSX, Honda's SuperCar" book.

The production numbers for the US cars do not aline with the WIKI table on NSXPRIME and the table basically stops at 2003. See if the Canadian colum at least lines up with your numbers.

The accuracy doesn't seem correct. Edit if you wish.

I have this book as well. The data presented in this book do not line up with the Wiki, because they are based on production year. The Wiki is based on model year. For example, for 1991 model year cars, many of them were built in 1990. For the Canadian cars, I've just started collecting the data, but since there's no way of verifying the VINs like with US cars, I'm limited to collecting VINs that I see of VINs of cars for sale and building the list that way.

Just spoke with the owner of 2003 Imola #127 (manual) and it presently has 14692.8miles and located in Santa Clara, California.

Jetpilot3 I am car 4SUZUKA11! Now at almost 19K miles. Will go out of warranty 3-09 with no concerns.
Running strong but put away now for overdose of global warming snowfall this winter season.

Not to but in but to give praise, imola the best color for the nsx , that is is why my 91 is that color. Everyone looks at it even with lambos or F cars.

Brian

check out our guy in Canada from last years meet in Kelowna B.C.
I did not get too close to this car since everyone else was making love to it.
Maybe Terry, Porpoise, knows a little more about it and who owns it from around there.
