folks,

given that the US appears to have the largest natural disaster in our history on our hands, i've been scanning the news to determine the level of financial/other assistance we're receiving from the international community.

so far, i can't find anything of note. i'm probably looking in the wrong places.

can any of you direct me to this type of info, please?

thx

I do know that Lions Club International Foundation will be providing some type of assistance to the victims of Katrina. (Received email today.) LCIF is the charitable arm of Lions Club International. When the Tsunami devastated Indonesia, Sri Lanka, etc., many Lions around the world sent monies to LCIF earmarked for Tsunami relief. I would expect the same in the case of Katrina. Not all charitable donations and relief assistance appear in the media.

LCIF welcomes donations from everyone. If anyone is interested, the link to their website is below.
