JDM nav pod bracket - install question

Hey All,

When you use the nav pod bracket to secure the nav pod, how did you fit the screw covers on the back?
The bracket is in the way of the 'clips' that hold in the screw covers. Did you 'trim' down the clips or what?

Now that I thought about it. I did trim the bracket a little on both side so the cover can go in.

yes, I had to trim one of the plugs to get it to fit flush
