Limitations on Repaired Tires?

I recently punctured (nail) a relatively new Michelin Pilot 245/40-17 rear tire which I had repaired via a patch on the inside. This is a commuter car, so no problem per se, but was wondering if anyone knows what speed (or other) limitations that I should observe with respect to the repaired tire...

Thanks,

Umm... I wouldn't drive on a repaired tire.

However, if you feel the need to for the next several thousand miles (you said the tire was almost new), I'd keep it below 80MPH on the highway.

Maybe someone with better knowledge of how these tire patch things work can comment on whether even this is safe.
