locked key in car - help!!!

hi,

i bought a 92 nsx on monday and today i locked the only key i have in the car. is there any way to get another key from the dealer? if not, how might i gain entry?

Most locksmiths have a "lockout" service where they'll come and break into your car for you for pretty cheap. Locksmiths are much preferrable over some guy from a service station because they have diagrams of how the lock mechanism works, etc. and can either slim-jim it or actually pick the lock if the slim-jim route doesn't work easily.

If you go to an Acura dealership and give them your NSX's VIN number and show proof of ownership, they can make a duplicate key for you.

Thanks for your help. I called a mobile locksmith who opened the door in about 15 minutes for $24.

well a duplicate NSX key from the dealer cost me $10.

Thats what I would have done though!
