Lombard Street Photoshoot

Hey James,

Thanks again for your efforts. I could tell something was not right with you that day but I didn't want to ask. I'm glad you gave an explanation as to what was goign on. We got screwed by the SFPD for sure but you cannot be blamed for that.

I can tell you however that my car was never "in front" and at one point I was the 5th car up but was forced to keep moving when I should have been the first car (since only every 4 cars were supposed to move). That said I personally have some very nice shots of my car on Lombard and shots that others have taken. I do look forward to seeing the pro shots.

My wife and I had a great time and we look forward to the next event.

Thanks

Special thanks to James and Lynn for a great turnout.

Thank you Mike for the goodies and always making me feel welcome to the club.

Thanks to Moses for lending me the memory card.

Thanks to Richard for the breakfast and the cleaning supplies to wipe the bugs off my bumper.

Overall it was a good experience. It was nice to see old and new faces.

Ditto, I was also never in the front, but I know it's beyond your control.

James, in spite of what transpired during the day's event....I want to commend you especially, (and the rest who helped out Lynn, Jack & Mike) for all the hard work to make this happen. I tend to stay as far away from the LE whenever possilble for many reasons. No, I don't have any warrants or such matters pending with them if you're wondering. Yes, I have had my fair share of run ins with them (LE) in the past and lets just say I see them in different way. I'm not saying all LE are viewed in a negative manner, but I just think that most of them have a chip on their shoulders. Just because they wear a badge and in their minds it's a symbol of authority, but it doesn't give them the authority to be abusive and bullying, which in this case had happened. I do have a family member (nephew) in the SFPD and is a fine representative of the department, but he's still a cop.

Some of us wondered what happened to the police escort to the photo shoot, to the restaurant after, amoungst other things...now we know it mostly due to the power trip of the LE. If I was at the helm, I would have been most likely arrested. Again, you did an outstanding job dealing what was presented before you. Don't let a few bad LE apples get you down, I'll see you at future meet(s).

ditto to 3 previous post.

Thanks once again.

Nothing ever really goes as planned, but this was handled really well considering the unforeseen events.

Plus my wife and I had a wonderful time driving down Hwy 1

If you guys really want a sugar fix, next time I'll bring cupcakes & espresso brownies. They're like doughnuts with comcast powerboost.

Don't be making any assumptions... Your resident racer also likes the fried dough.

Oh not making any assumptions here, I know others here like fried goodness, LOL. However, my statement is a known fact. Ask me how I know.

How do you know?!?!?!?
Well, my nephew and some of his co-workers more or less confirmed it when I brought up out of curiosity on my part. A few of them gave me the stink eye and then I knew.
