I can't see pictures, but I'm sure it is nice. I've heard nothing but great things from Joe's team.
I think it's funny how you went from using dry ice to scrape off sound dampening on the floor board for weight savings, to tacking on a heavy widebody :biggrin:

I actually don't think there is much weight difference between these two setup besides the wheels to be honest. This front bumper setup is actually much lighter than the oem bumper. I think the rear fenders are lighter as well. I'll admit the wing will probably be much heavier. I'll weigh the end result sometime next year to see the overall difference.
Hopefully in a couple days I'll have some more picture of it fully assembled.
I think that color is going to be incredible. I've never seen it in person, but I'm sure I for one love it. Now that it's painted the rest should go pretty fast and you'll be back on the road in no time.

I am making the roof body color. I think the color matched roof makes the car a little more modern looking.
I'm anxious to see it but the wait I'm sure will be worth it. Hopefully another week or two and the car will be back home.

So the car is almost done but pretty much fully assembled. Joe noticed the door handles were in rough shape so he's going to have his guys repaint the handles and trim that need to be fixed. I'll be going on Saturday to look it over and make the payment for the job. Exciting times. Here are the pictures of the end result that Joe sent me.

Thanks Danny. I wont' have the car by Sunday but regardless I'm basically putting it away for the rest of the year when it gets back. I want the paint to out gas so I can then apply clear protective film before I take it out on public roads.

Thanks guys, I'm just waiting for the car to arrive so I can put the interior back together and take more pictures of it. Car should be here sometime this week

Well car is home and I've put the majority of the interior back together. One issue that has come up is that the bluetooth controller I had has died. It's not outputting audio and if it is it's almost nothing so I need to order a new controller to replace this one. Additionally there is an issue with the hood. It's not very noticeable in pictures but in person it is noticeable. It looks like the inner frame of the Downforce hood is showing through the outer shell of the hood which makes it look like the front of the hood has a V shape to it. I'm now wondering what I should do about it. Also I changed the mirror stalks to be a short stalk instead of this elbowed one as you can see from the 2nd picture below.
