I have a little question on a 3.2 motor ...if you wanted just to pull the pistons out could you drop oil pan and crank and pull them from the bottom or do you have to really take motor out of the car? and take all appart ......thanks any advice is welcome .. :wink: .. reason being if you want to get to the pistons ...

Motor Question for the techs ?

Because of the webbing for the mains for the crank, you are not able to remove the pistons from the bottom of the motor. You will have to uncap the rods, then remove the heads to pull the pistons from the top. With the way that the engine and heads are positioned in the engine compartment, pull the engine out, and you will save yourself an immense amount of 4 letter words.
