Mount Palomar Drive

I may be able to go tomorrow. Anything special I need to do, or just show-up?

Just show up by 8AM in San Juan Capistrano and the address posted in the first post. Weather will be gorgeous so prepare for a fantastic day.

to get water spots out of our jet skis, i use 50/50 water/vinegar. Spray on, spread around with microfiber towel, work it in there pretty good then rinse with water. Make sure you wash and wax right after this treatment.

It's the last...... Unless I need to have them buff the deck lid. It looks like they washed it and didn't wipe off the trunk lid and now I got water spots I can't get off. Tried quick detailer, magic clay, and scratch x. Not to jack the thread but any other ideas?

They're responsible for the spots and it will only take them a few minutes to get them off with a high speed polisher......take it back to them

Don't forget to set your clocks back before you hit the sack so you don't show up an hour early and wonder where every is.

I've updated the who's coming list (I think) but looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces in the morning. We'll be heading out of San Juan pretty close to 8 as it will be about a 90 minute ride down to Pala.

Don't forget to reset your clocks (thanks Patty) and make sure you have a full tank of gas. The weather will be California make-you-jealous-anywhere-else-you-live-in-November. So bring your Go-Pros and other cameras. This is going to be fun. See you in a couple of hours.

I wana see pics :) lots of pics. I spent the last hour buffing the trunk from the water spots bell left on it :(. Top it off, the laptop crashed so now I gotta try to find the other tune for the car and drag the desktop down to do it. Hope everyone else has a awesome drive..... Though with Jc planning it, it will be :)

Sorry you won't be able to come along. There will be plenty off pics and video. Just not as much without Eric.

Great run again....

Thanks again for organizing another fun run! Although we had to split ways early, it was good to see everyone for one last organized drive in 2012. See you all soon and thanks again for planning another great drive route/event - wish I could have stuck around for the entire thing. Look forward to seeing pics and video.

I had a great time! So much fun driving the NSX with others and seeing my NSX friends.

Thank you Randy, JC and Les!

JC, I owe you lunch after you ended up paying for mine.

I had a piece of apple pie in Julian. Yum!

I'll post photos tomorrow.

Another successful NSX drive! It was great to see everyone and hope all got home safe. Thanks to JC, Les and Randy for coordinating meet up points and the route. Such perfect weather for a drive today. We are definitely lucky to live in So Cal. Also thanks to Jonathan for helping to be a sweeper. :)

^Aren't we cute, John? BTW, the front tires felt much better on the way home, after you let some air out, and I wish I had mentioned the feel at Mount Palomar. I checked the air in all of them when I got home, and the fronts were at 31 and the backs were at 40 (?) I think. I forget now for sure what they were. I'll check them again when they cool off but I definitely will keep less air in the front. Thank You!

Just a couple for now...

Wow, 10 hours and 270 miles of mostly smiles. Got behind a couple of slow cars that wouldn't move over into a "turnout" but the rest was fun. Great way to end the drive season. Thanks JC for never giving up on this drive and Randy for a very fun route. Julian was the perfect end to the drive. Good food and we left town with a pie or 3, we couldn't make up our mind on just one.

Pics will be up later.

Thanks for organizing the drive, Les, JC and Randy. The route was awesome with ascending and descending sweeping curves. Made the driving so much fun. The weather was hot and perfect . I was a bit worried when the needle on my temp gauge was creeping past the middle and reaching 3/4 point when we reached the top but all was good on the way down.
