I'm thinking about getting a new car for weekends and daily driving...you know.. on "those days" when I feel like it.

how many of you own s2000's? what are your thoughts? I've been around them but i've never owned had one for an extended period of time...any issues I should know?

I daily drive an AP1 S2000. It's very reliable, and I get decent gas mileage. The car feels more nimble than my NA1 NSX. It's a very fun car to drive.
