Purchasing an original one owner1993 red coupe/ black interior with under 60k miles. Car has been inactive for about 5 or 6 years. Aside from fluids and timing belt, battery, tires and brakes, any other service thoughts?
I would like to update the look of the car with wheels and tires. Any suggestions on wheel and or wheel and tire package?
Thank you!

Advan or rays wheels. Anything science of speed sells is perfect. Congrats and welcome.

Are you going for performance or less performance with good looks? IE 18/19 set up. Total performance setup is 17/18 size but tires are tricky to find. Check some wheel threads here and read wiki. Best search is google. For example, Nsxprime wheel thread via google, etc.

I think you need Hapa88 to join in here. He is really good at wheel specs.

Welcome and congrats! When I was doing my research I used the search function on here to great effect. I believe I searched "aftermarket wheel specs" which gave me all of the info I needed to make an educated decision based on what I wanted. I ended up going with a 17x8 front and 18x9.5 rear with 215/40/17 and 265/35/18 tires respectively. Depending on what you want to spend there is a pretty decent selection of wheels that will fit the NSX. Like Jinks said, anything Science of Speed sells will be a safe bet. There are also other brands out there to consider such as Work, BBS, BC Forged, Forgestar, Forgeline, TSW, HRE, Enkei, and Strasse. I'm sure I've left out a few, but this should get you headed in the right direction. As far as service goes, I'd be most comfortable taking a car that has sat this long to an NSX specialist. If you don't mind divulging your general location, someone MIGHT be able to suggest a reputable shop in your area (there aren't that many around). FWIW, I don't have a specialist near me, so I had the local Acura dealer perform my timing belt service. They did a good job and were reasonable on price. Hope this helps. Good luck and keep us posted!
