I might have to have Ramon look at something on my NSX. I
How much does he charge per hour?

I tried calling him Friday and he didnt pick up. I was going to bring my 1991 NSX on Momday April 28.

Thanks,
John

about $100 per hour. however, he is not that good. my bladed sway bar wasn't torqued correctly which caused a nut flew away after 100 miles driving.

you will need to drive at least 5 hours that day.

That's too bad that happened. I've been going to Ramon for years, and I even had Ramon install the lovefab chassis bar you sold me. Thanks for the part, btw.

Honestly, I think he's the best we've got in socal. It's too bad he made a mistake on your car.

I have used Ramon, almost exclusively, on things I need done to my car that can't/don't want/don't know how to do. I have found him to be fair, experienced, reliable and very affordable. If you are looking for speed parts or tuning, that is not his thing. But if you want a solid reliable car, There is none better in SoCal.

Sorry NSXVTECVETC for the loss of your nut. Did you get it fixed?

Ramon has worked on my last 2 NSX's and also my daily driver CRX SI's, Prelude's, Insight's, Rsx and classic car's. He has alway done great work at more than fair prices. I grew up around car dealerships and mechanics and my next door neighbor back in the day was an ex Carroll Shelby and Dan Gurney race team mechanic. He let me hang out with him a lot and showed my how to work on cars, so I know a good mechanic when I see one.I have been on this site a long time and have never seen a negative comment about Ramon for good reason he is one of the best NSX mechanic's on the west coast.

No worry. It was just a nut because I heard something dropped off when I was driving.

Some people don't need to be panic. I didn't bad mouth him but only stated what happened. Everyone makes mistake including him. It's 5 hour driving that day. I still went there for the bladed sway bar because it isn't average mechanic's job. For other stuff, it is really not necessary to see him due to long commute. NSX is such simple car to work, so I really don't need a specialist every time.

agree 100%. he's solely done all the work on two of my NSX's for almost a decade. always been great to me and my cars...

You won't find a more honest and reliable person to work on your NSX. Been going there since I bought my NSX 8 years ago and couldn't be happier.
