notifications on new threads in a specific forum

how do i get emails / notifications on new threads as when they are posted to a specific forum.

Go to that forum and look in the upper right corner. You should see a drop-down menu that says "Forum Tools." Select "Subscribe to This Forum..." and then either Daily or Weekly updates by email. Then click "Add Subscription."
