NSXPO 2013 Photos

Thanks 4 posting. More to come tonight. We had an awesome time at 3 am ............ but that's NSXPO!
What other car club can take over a major International Airport! I need some sleep ........ zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Great night last night that started out with the simple idea to cruise the streets of Raleigh and see what fun we could have. Before you know it, we are getting a police escorted tour of the Airport for custom photoshoots.

Hanging out after blowing people's mind along the streets as our convoy rolled through. I was near the front of the pack, and one of my favorite comments was some guy saying "holy crap man , 3 NSXs together!" Little did he know there were 7 more behind me :p :

Next thing you know, we are taking over the terminal:

We shut down this tunnel for a bit for some photos (and lots of tunnel noise :p )

A little artistic at the Aviation center:

Holy Sheetz! Look at all the NSXs! I swear, the truck driver did that on his own, no prompting:

Saw the car that you did the conversion on and painted imola. Have to say, that it is very difficult, if not impossible, to tell the difference from factory. Very, very good job. Little red faced to admit, that the wife was able to remember the rebuild thread you did, documenting the transformation. She came to me and asked if that was the car that "Dr. Shawn" painted. LOL. I guess she does pay attention to my ramblings about the things I see here on prime.

Came out awesome, I had no idea until I heard the owner talking about it.

That cruise looked cool, neat to get special treatment like that... Especially at an airport of all places.

Thanks guys I really had second thoughts while driving it to the new owner I'm glad it has nsxprime approval
have a safe trip back home guys

Great shots guys ! Looks like ya'll are having fun in Raleigh :)

Terminal, tunnel, gas station... all cool photos !

Great photos! Looks like an incredible turnout - thanks for sharing with those of us who weren't able to be there. Especially enjoying the "Individual Photos" on the website - it's great to put owners' faces with the cars themselves.

Back at work now! Said bye to everyone at 6:30 am this morning. What a great NSXPO! Not did we have the Expo ... but NSXPO afterdark where we had anywhere from 7-15 cars cruising the street and freeways of Raleigh! The local car scene in Raleigh even put together a second event on Sunday night for us to come to on a 12 hour notice. Was a great turn out! There are tone more pictures to come from everyone's phone's, camera's etc. Stay tuned!

We had a blast meeting everyone and I'm glad I decided to make the drive up. After taking a ride with Jason and Alex, I think they've helped me commit to getting an NSX sooner than later. I originally was skeptical about how hospitable the group would be towards non-NSX owners, but you guys welcomed us with open arms, and that's something that means a great deal to us. It especially means a lot to me personally, to know that one day (soon), I'll be able to consider myself a member not only a great, but classy group of owners. With that being said, let the search resume!!!!!

Man Shawn, the Imola looked like cr@p. Runs in the paint. Overspray on the glass. Panel gaps as wide as the Grand Canyon. WTF!!! I would have taken it to Earl Sceib instead for a $79 special.

For all those that were in attendance and those who couldn't make it, Here are the photos I was taking all weekend with my 35mm camera. The photos cover mostly Friday, Saturday, and what a small group of us called "NSXPO after dark" ENJOY

Just got a chance to watch the video in full, not bad Bob, but I think that "The Intimidator" would have lapped you at least once!!!

I captured a pretty cool time lapse on my go pro when everyone was returning from the Porsche by design event and everyone getting ready for the Concours d' Elegance competition. Enjoy!
