I need to buy an OBDII scanner.

Does OBD-II work in the early NSX's ? (1991-1996)
Looking at the MIL/OBD-II table via FAQ link posted above by SYNTH19 I'm guessing the early NSX only support the MIL codes and OBD-II was added in later models? Can anyone confirm. tks

Although it's not on your list. I've had the Innova 3100 since last year and it works great on the NSX and Mercedes.

Thanks everyone for the inof. I just picked up an Actron CP9175 AutoScanner and used it to read the scan codes. Just what I thought, the car runs a bit rich sometimes which causes the CELs.
 
I've got the Scangauge II in another car and it is like having a entirely new set of gauges. Depending upon the data output from the OBD-II, it will give you fuel mileage figures, actual engine temps, transmission temps (auto only), actual rpm readings (you'd be surprised how far off factory tachs can be) and a lot of other features as well as, obviously, MIL codes and resets. For the money, it's the best system out there since it does more than just read codes and capture freeze frame data and more is almost always better ;) It will come with a book of codes, even Acura specific ones. If you want to install it, it's just running the line to the OBD-II port, no other wiring or power sources required.
 
OK, I have a 1992 NSX, 1994 Integra, 1998 3.5RL and a 2002 Honda CR-V.

Do I need two different scanners, or is there a scanner that will scan the older vehicles as well and the newer OBD-II?
