OEM or SOS clutch?

Looking to buy a new clutch for a 95 NSX. I am considering the SOS 275 clutch but I’m reading some accounts that this clutch “chatters” and/or vibrates at levels very noticeable and annoying. If so where can I buy an OEM clutch kit?

Purchase with confidence from MIta. They are a go-to supplier for NSX parts. I've purchased numerous parts from them with never an issue. If I was in your situation I would purchase both the clutch and flywheel from Mita.

MITA, I think my clutch is done. Pedal feels like there is no pressure (or very little) I bought a master/slave hoping that is the culprit, but when I went to rotate my car around in the garage, I was getting shaking and squealing, so I think the clutch might be bad (25 years on that clutch according to records) I still plan on swapping the master/slave, but assuming that will not fix anything, Do I need to order both full clutch kit and full T3 flywheel kit off your site?

For everyone else, Is there any other maintenance/upgrades I should consider while getting this done?

Pretty sure you have to buy the full Honda kit and just not use the OEM flywheel.

A "proper" clutch service (as it is done in Japan and at the Refresh Center) would include the clutch kit, clutch fork, throwout bearing, bearing guide, fork spring, fork hanger and a little tin of High-Temp Urea Grease. Acura just replaces the clutch without touching this other stuff. But, after 25 years, the fingers on your clutch fork are worn down, as is the hanger. Replacing them restores the brand-new feel.

Have you tried adjusting the clutch pedal yet? You should rule this out first and it doesn't cost anything.

Yes because the trans is out of the car and that's most of the cost (labor).

My low mileage clutch (SOS) started slipping on a drive recently and it had been engaging very high in the stroke. It turned out to be a lack of freeplay in the pedal. It's easy to check, but took me three hours of contortion and removing the seat to be able to adjust it. With the right amount of freeplay the clutch now engages much more smoothly and has been trouble free for 500 miles.
