Paint Wear on Roof

Hi all,

After a good wash on the weekend, I noticed a bit of paint wearing nearly down to the aluminium on the roof where there is a slight raise towards the rear.

I have a black roof and it's the size if around 1/2 inch by 1/8 inch....ovalish shape... I'll take a photo when I get a chance.

Does something like this require a full roof respray or is there a way the panel beaters can salvage? The rest of the roof is in good condition.

Thanks.

You might want to consider a vinyl wrap of the roof, a relatively cheap and easy 'fix' for the time being.......

Clay it, fine scratch remover, polish then wax.
This can happen from the sun or if you have a car cover on outside and the wind blows the friction can mar the paint.
I don't think this is a disaster.
