The OEM 2002-2005 wheels are 17/17s, I think you will be fine. Some say it's because of the design that they don't have the same optical illusion as 18/18s but I think it's the bigger sidewalls on the 17s eliminate the illusion. That must be why Honda chose to do 17s. Just my opinion-

I wouldn't do it. If you're spending a lot of money on wheels make sure it is what you want. I know someone who went with 17/17 and he is already talking about selling the wheels.

17s all around can look good if you are slammed.

my temporary wheels when I first picked up my nsx. These came off of my S2000 :)

If you are buying LM's then get the right sizes.

im going to run the TE37's off my s2k for the time being. they are 17x7.5+40 and 17x9+40. the fronts have 225/45/17 star specs and rub on the inner liner when i do a half turn:frown:...should i go with 215/40/17 and 265/40/17 or can i get away with running 275's in the rear? the front sits really flush and i wish i could keep it the way it is but dont want to ruin my fenders.

275 looks better on a 9.5 so it will be very square on a 9. You should really just use a 255 and get a tire that runs wide.

17/17 is best. and was a factory up-grade after many years of smaller sizes. anything bigger is a de-grade. especially if not lighter than oem due to rotational inertia.

not to mention a significant price increase comparing 17in rears to 18in.

Plus more expensive tires. 19s are Double the price of 18s!
