Post-Car Society

Sooner or later the paradigm will shift from steel to lightweight composites for mass produced consumer cars. There are already inroads to that end being made.

When that happens, and cars are getting 80 MPG on gas or ethanol or french fry oil, or can make a long commute on the same amount of electricity that a light bulb uses overnight, cars will once again be invaluable.

I doubt it. Didn't the same energy thing happen around 1970? We'll figure out a solution, and energy will be cheap once again. It just takes time to figure out how to do it.

ah a sane person/ We are on the same page. however I am looking for ways to profit from the panic.
