Well, weight difference is 2 kg.
I got that parts from HRE, it also has a specific part no ( NOT 73111-SL0-A02)

Over last few days we got lot of inquiries regarding the PiP parts

Again, all interior parts needs 'good' OEM parts as exchange parts......if not we have to buy OEM parts here and thats really expensive.

I'm proud that we can reintroduce our cf nav pod, it was not available over the last few years.

Actually we have 4x 2D centerconsoles in production, so the 'waiting' time is 4-6 weeks after incoming OEM part

Beginning from next year, we are able to produce Procar cf hoods for all NSX's again.

-NA1RR for NSX (91-01)
-NA2RR for NSX (02+)

Our hood is reference model for the next generation, which will be optimized in weight and finish quality at the top side.

All hoods will have cf top and buttom side, the paintable top side version will be special production.

Production time will be ~ 4-6 weeks.

No, you can stock your 'old' hood or sale it.
You will get a new cf hood.....no exchange.
Exchange is for interior parts only!


Actually the newest generation of NA2RR mold is prepared for the 3th generation of this hood.
The 1th unit will be test fitted at my car again, it should have the same perfect fitment quality as my gen 2 hood, but still lighter with new composite material.

This is how the 1th unit of cf hood looks after molding process, waiting for the next steps.

NA1RR hood (for pop up headlights) will get the same treatment, new 3th generation mold.....lighter as gen 2.
Actually 1th hood is in production for an UK customer, will post pictures before shipment.

This was a long preparing process....
Step 1: I had to buy the expensive NA2R JDM hood and make a mold for my NA2RR hood.

Than I cutted the middle section (NSX-R duct) and made a 3D implantation of that part into a brandnew OEM NA1 aluminium hood
Even that hood got an alignment.

It turned out like this......well 9 years ago.:smile:

Fits NA1R hood and NA2R hoods.

Also cf airducts for NA1+2 LHD with both kind of ABS systems are in production til middle of january

today at 13.07pm...... the Ufo's arrived.
New Procar NA1RR and NA2RR cf hoods in spec 3, our latest and last version for the old NSX's.

Both versions are available beginning of january 2014.
Production time for 1 hood is ~ 2 months after incoming order.
Both versions comes in full cf spec, top and buttom side, only option is with or w/o washer jets mounting holes.
