Here in the US, we have some good racing schools such as:

Skip Barber Racing School (skipbarber.com)
Jim Russell Racing Schools (jimrussellusa.com)
Bondurant School of H.P. Driving (bondurant.com)

I've done a Google search for racing schools in Europe and Asia.

Does anyone here have any first or second hand experience with European or Asian racing schools that they can recommend?

Thanks.

Just one of hundreds in the UK;

Every track will usually have a race school.

In addition to schools its possible to hire a professional coach, usually old racing drivers for one to one tuition. These same coaches are also paid by current F1 drivers for training.

Had an instructor name Ron Simmons who provides training at the nurburgring take me for a ride in my nsx to show me the lines. He showed me the true potential of the nsx and why it is a supercar. It was somewhat challenging to to pay attention to his technique with my butt cheeks fully clenched half the time. Never thought the car was that quick. One of the best days in my life.

Hi

In Japan there are many driving courses and tutored track days, for most that I know you need your own car.

NSX specific driver training is run by Honda at Twin Ring Motegi [TWM] and Suzuka, called the Basic and Advanced Owner's Meeting the one or two days feature a lecture by Shigeru Uehara [Ex Honda NSX Chief Engineer], the instructors are Motaharu Kurosawa [NSX 3,000 lap+ 'Ring development driver] and Kazuo Shmizu [NSX LeMans 1994]. http://www.honda.co.jp/NSX/07meet/index.html

Also at TWM is Yamano Handling Magic - Tetsuya Yamano is the Autotest Champion of Japan in an NSX, he is also Super GT300 2006 champion. http://www.mobilityland.co.jp/yamano_m/

Cheers

Simon

Spent time with Ron too, funny guy, and very talented! When i was out there he was looking after some Yanks too so well worth a holiday for the American NSX community.
