I still can't believe Eddie VH is gone. I grew up listening to that genre of rock and it is truly the best. I saw VH in concert a few times, both with David Lee and Sammy and both were awesome. The last time I saw them with DLR I actually lost hearing in my left ear during Eddie's Eruption solo.

We lost two great musicians this year: Peart and Van Halen.

RIP Eddie Van Halen.

I am so bummed. My cousin actually opened for them back in the early days and Eddie produced an album for my cousin so I got to meet him several times along with the other band members at the time. Definitely a huge loss. RIP Eddie.

This was the band of my youth...crank up to 11, ear against the home speaker...bliss. Cruising with your buddies and this on all with top down and wind in the hair. Great times.
