its nice to be a part of

i just bought a 98 red\tan #28
and I don’t know what
this “snap ring” thing is
you all talk about?

Thats because It's a secret.

Nawww, just kidding, My understanding is that it's a failure in the transmission that was restricted to a certain range of production. there is more information in the FAQ section of this web site including the affected transmission serial numbers. I also believe that the affected production was limited to late '91 and '92 model year cars so owning a '98 you shouldn't have to worry. But I could be wrong so check it for yourself. here's the link
