So I ran over a rabbit last night...

I ran over a rabbit in my datsun pickup a couple months ago. It was in the mcdonalds parking lot. Around this time of year, rabbits are literally everywhere in this area. I didn't bother trying to stop as the datsun pickup sucks to a large degree and it would have hit anyway.

The worst roadkill story I know happened to me a few years ago. It was during the time kittens start discovering the world and a few were playing on the side of the road when one of them decided to go on the road. It got hit by a bus's rear wheel. I saw the entire thing happen as I was behind the bus, as the poor kitten had the lower half of its body smashed on the pavement. With minutes to live at best, I HAD to drive over it and put an end to an agonizing pain. Was NOT an easy decision considering I love felines and have 2 cats at my house hold...
