I did some searching and found a few threads on Black wheels on a red NSX. I am getting mine powdercoated on Monday and have a weekend to think about it. I told them to go flat black (a slight 20% gloss they recommended), but I have also really been thinking about a Gunmetal or close color.
I am having more trouble in searches finding some Red NSXs with a Gunmetal or similar wheel finish.
As much as I do like the track look of the black wheels, it's also a car I sometimes plan to drive for client meetings or situations where I only need my laptop and no other tools. I am now thinking gunmetal still may give me the look I'm going for without looking too racy.
I guess I'm just vacillating and could use some help making up my mind. I found a thread with pages of black on red, but if anyone has some gunmetal or similar setup on their NSX I'd love to see it.
