Strange Engine Problem

Recently I noticed when I take off from a stop (such as a red light) ever so often the car feels like it really boggs down. Almost like im starting off in a higher gear, but im not. It stays like that no matter how much gas i give it until about 3-3.5k rpm and then it all "lets up" and drives and feels like ity has normal power. Anyone know anything that might help?

Looks like fuel delivery related. Injectors, pump, filter?

Mine did the same thing when I bought the car four years ago. I did a complete tune up plugs,fuel filter, new air filter and it never did it again. Try adding a bottle of Redline system cleaner once or twice a year to keep those injectors clean.

Replacing the fuel filter is the first thing I would do. :biggrin:

Ok, so it appears one of the sparkplugs had gone bad and was misfireing. I replaced all the plugs and it seems good to go
